The largest glass building in Europe

So claims Sud Ouest, the huge glass building at the Bordeaux Railway station is an Eiffel structure made of glass, metal and wood; it is 279.60 m long, 55.89 m wide, and 36 m high. I believe that Crystal Palace would have beaten that but it’s too late for us to see now. As the station is being refurbished, some of the glass has not been replaced yet and is in a bit of a sorry state.
