The Weight of One Self
This is a shot of “the Weight of One Self” a “philosophical experience” by Nordic sculptors Michael Elmgreen & Ingar Dragse in Lyon. This is a statue of a man carrying another lifeless man in his arms… himself in fact. I turned around the statue in order to hide the sun and get some dramatic backlighting and flickering on the surface of the Saone river. December 2014
