Irreverent Meerkats
Today’s theme is Cheeky. Not an easy one if you ask me. I went back to my archive and I found that cheeky lizard up there, ignoring my camera while he was jumping from one rock to the other.
My preferred cheeky animals however are the Meerkats.
I like them with their Bambi eyes like this. Aren’t they cute?

Meerkats were put upon this earth to be cheeky. What fabulous photos. I have a soft spot for your lizard though, as I suspect he lives in the Ariège.
Thank you so much for you kind comment. Well, he didn’t Margaret. The picture was shot in Port Royal, 20mi South West of Paris.
Cheeky thing. Too far north, surely?
No so many of them up here but there are a few.

French speaking meerkats in France certainly looks different to Afrikaans speaking Meerkats in South Africa
Indeed they do. These ones are from Madagascar. There are many different species of Meerkats as far as I know.
