This week\u2019s photo challenge is \u201ceye\u201d<\/a>. So I went through my latest pictures and found a series shot in Blois, in the Loire valley, during a theatre play<\/a>. The play was staged and written by Jean-Claude Deret, a French actor<\/a> who is also the Father of a celebrated actress and director, Zabou Breitman<\/a>.\u00a0I chose this picture because it was shot on Saturday 14th, 2015. A day after you know what. Deret – who escaped the war\u2019s atrocities unscathed and changed his name from Breitman to Deret for obvious reasons – had this sadness and determination in his eye which helped me make my decision. Jean-Claude Deret is 94.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
