The bird perch (perchoir in French) is the name of an outdoor café on top of a building in Menilmontant. October 2014.
The River Marne is very scenic. It used to be home to the “guinguettes”, 19th-early 20th century riverside cafés where people could drink the “guinguet” a cheap local wine, which no longer exists. Its quality may not have stood today’s tests I believe.
