We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us
Architecture, statuary and Art
I am passionate about architecture and as I’m always lugging my photo kit around I spend my time taking pictures of the places I visit or come across. Here is a sample of my pictures dedicated to Architecture, statuary and Art.
A journey through time
Architecture is a bit like the time machine. Sometimes, appearances may be deceptive.
You may think that you’ve gone back in time when you realise the building you admire and take for a medieval castle was in fact rebuilt in the nineteenth century.
Such is Architecture, it lies and it tells the truth at the same time. And indeed, Winston Churchill — if he ever said this — is right, Architectures shapes us in the same way that we shaped it in the first place.
