With the lockdown (one more time!), we are once again forced to stay home. At best one can travel in a 1 km radius around one’s block of flats. 1 km is exactly where it would take you if you walked from my place, a bit further south, in Montsouris. A funny name which would sound a bit like “Mousehill”. I definitely prefer Primrose Hill for that matter. Well, anyway, we are not allowed to travel, be it to London or anywhere else.

I had to look for this park, it sounded familiar, but I had never visited it. My father lived and worked in Paris for many years and I was able to visit him and my stepmother as often as I could. He lived in the 15th on Rue de la Convention for a few of those year. I remember the neighborhood well. I wish I had visited the park – it looks like a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Hi Clay, thanks for your comment. If your father lived in Convention then he could have easily taken a stroll around the park which is situated a little further East, in the fourteenth district. It used to be a quarry until it was turned into a park at the end of the 19th century. It is indeed a very pleasant area, I suppose we are rather lucky to be able to go out for fresh air while we are stuck at home. Stay safe as well and thanks for your visit.
