Blois By Night
Paris by night is rather exciting, mostly when the yellow vests have gone home to rest for a while. Blois by night isn’t bad either. A little quieter for sure, but with patience, one can capture speeding cars at night. I didn’t have a tripod with me on that night so I used whatever I could rest my camera on in order to perform long exposure photography.
Looks like the Monaco grand prix.
All three lights, red, amber and green at the same time.
I'm a photographer and watercolourist. I have practiced photography since childhood and digital photography since 1995. I turned it into my main occupation in 2021. I own a photo studio in Paris, France.

I love the first two especially, with their unexpected points of view — but that last one is cool too, because where else would you see all three lights illuminated at once? Wonderful shots, Yann!
Thank you kindly Heide. I hope that the dreadful winter is behind you.
The fact is I didn’t have my tripod with me hence the unusual points of views you are mentioning. I had to rest my camera on some benches and walls and especially for the last one it was sitting on some not so flat pillar I kept being afraid of seeing my camera fall down the stairs!
Oh, the anguish of imagining your camera topple off some unstable perch! I’ve been there too, Yann — though my results weren’t half as creative as yours. Chapeau !
Merci 🙂
